Almost the same mechanically as the chunkier L96 MK3 sniper rifle in a lighter stock. This airsoft sniper rifle is designed for quick "snipe and move" tactics to keep your (surviving) opponents guessing, the rear stock slides down like the M4 and the bipod legs can be quickly folded back against the body. This airsoft sniper rifle has pin point accuracy and has a good quality feel to it.
Fitted with a velocity reducer to give a site friendly 290 fps using 0.20g. The velocity reducer can be removed to give up to 450 fps and a effective range of 80 metres plus (please note we will reject any warranty claims on rifles damaged if attempted removal is done incorrectly). We can send instructions on removing the reducer upon request. We recommend checking with your local airsoft site as they may have restrictions on sniper rifles over a certain power.
A unique feature is that it includes parts so the bolt action can be changed from right handed to left handed use in a couple of minutes.
The internals are precision made and are almost all metal with a CNC lathed brass internal barrel. The upper receiver, top rail, weaver bipod mount and outer barrel is metal with the stock constructed from ABS resin. The bolt action is smooth and fairly silent, the bolt action and other moving parts are reassuringly chunky. The MB-06D weighs in at around 2.5kg or 3.5kg with the bi-pod and scope attached.
The Warrior MB-06D should use 0.30g for the best accuracy even with the velocity restrictor installed as the hop up rubber is designed for 450 fps velocity shooting. other things of note is that we have noticed that to start with there maybe allot of grease in the barrel so give it a good clean out (set the hop up to open/none) this will improve the accuracy dramatically.
As with the L96 from the same manufactuer on the unit we tested the blue paint job required to make it VCRA compliant had a couple of barely noticeable blemishes, which is a small price to pay as injection moulding it bright blue would probably add £20 and we rather resources were used on making a quality sniper rifle than giving it a pedicure.
This version of the Warrior MB06 two tone sniper rifle includes a good quality 3-9x40 metal scope with metal weaver mounts and a metal bipod which has fold back legs, all of this can be put together in around 10 minutes. Due to the layout of the stock L96 MB01 magazines are not compatible with this gun.
