Double Eagles version of the L96 sniper rifle. Chunky, solid and accurate. Double Eagle have not held back on the metal content, the barrel assemble, trigger, internal mechanism and top section are all metal for maximum durability. The stock is made from injection moulded orange ABS plastic so it can take a few knocks.
Mechanically you've got a smooth bolt action which is fairly easy to cock. This Airsoft rifle gives out around 440 fps using 0.20g BB straight out of the box so no need to remove a restrictor . We wouldn't recommend using anything lighter than 0.20g. You have a weaver rail on the top so a scope can be fitted using weaver mounts.
The L96 rifle has allot of fans thanks to its accuracy and its shape makes it comfortable to snipe with. On the M57 L96 you get adjustable hop up which adjusts using a small allen key, once you set the hop up to your preferred weight of BB you don't really have to adjust it again.
We like the DE M57A range and accuracy, there seems to be a few different L96A1 airsoft rifles being released from various manufacturers recently which is goods news for fans of sniping as they all seem to be in competition to make the most accurate and powerful version.
For the best range and accuracy clear any dust or grease from barrel regularly, apply a airsoft safe silicone spray to moving parts and use ultra grade BB.
Please note: To fit a bipod you need a L96 bipod attachment block. The Magazines for the MB-01 L96 and the Warrior MB-06D DO NOT fit this rifle, please only use Double Eagle M57 magazines.
